December 2020
UPDATE:
What a year it has been! And while many of us are exhausted from information overload (depending on the source of information chosen), there are more changes to announce.
It has been a wonderful year in terms of getting to know how technology can keep us connected even while we are miles apart. We can still see each other, albeit via computer screen, and I've been fortunate enough to see clients this way AND have little "gatherings" with friends, each of us comfortably in our own homes and no travel involved.
Over the year, however, I have been 'graduating' more and more clients. I feel confident that each of you who 'matriculated' truly have the information that you need to continue making informed choices and are ready to do so without additional support. (Of course, many of you are more than clients, but also friends and colleagues. The door is not locked.)
The meetings (online in inclement weather or in-person in forest or field when the weather is agreeable again) will continue in the new year and the dates will be announced on the various channels we've employed so far. (If you haven't been part of these yet and are unsure about which channels these might be, feel free to reach out and ask.)
In the meantime, more time has been created for the pursuit of writing and I will be dedicating my efforts to the completion of a book project.
Thank you all for being such a wonderful part of my journey and for allowing me to be a part of yours.
Your words of encouragement and thanks have meant so much.

April 2020
I adore my clients! They consist largely of practitioners of naturopathy, those learning natural healing, herbalists, shamanic healers and just plain brilliant folks who may or may not use their talents and education to help others officially! It has been such a pleasure and an honor to hold space in my office in a historic building in downtown Flint, and meeting with you in person has definitely been a treat!
Times are changing for me, though! More and more of my beautiful clients are requesting online sessions, and I know why! We can meet in the comfort of our own homes! There is no need to travel, deal with parking, or take extra time off from whatever we are doing (whether that is pulling weeds in the garden or earning a paycheck where we work)! This travel convenience is especially true for my long-distance clients, some who have traveled as long as seven hours!
Even more -- the work we do together can be done with amazing effectiveness screen-to-screen!
While I have been toying with the idea for just a short time, the planets have aligned and the moment seems to have arrived! (Honest, this isn't a rash decision of ship-jumping in a scary time! It just happens to be a good instigator for taking this step!) Appointments are now via Skype (or other online platform; I'm looking into Zoom Meeting right now based on recommendations from a colleague). Those of you who have already met with me for sessions have found that the only downside is an occasional technology hiccup (Mercury mayhem!).
In addition to continuing my practice in this way (without the need for either of us to travel further than our own living rooms - or whichever room you like! Some clients have met with me from their cars using their phones, which has also worked well!), I will be conducting bi-weekly gatherings (when we are okay'd to gather again!) in a local park (barring bad weather). The dates and times will be announced soon, and all are welcome. The cost will be a $10 donation for the two hours that we spend, which may be an herb walk through the park or an informed discussion. Maybe we'll call it a Concourse of Curiosity, just for fun!
The format will be casual, we can just explore an area or an idea, or address specific concerns and learn a variety of techniques to help with a number of everyday issues.
There will be no minimum number (if only one person is able to attend, they will receive my full attention) and no maximum limit. I hope to see you there when this is set (which is likely to begin in May, depending on national events).
Once more, it has been SUCH a pleasure and great honor to have seen so many of you in my lovely little office! Remember, things are shifting, but not ending! My gratitude to you all and I look forward to seeing you soon!
