Once, every household had a family herbalist and every village had one for the community. Today, most of us have lost touch with the healing plants that live all around us and few of us know how to make our own remedies to soothe an upset stomach, take the sting out of an insect bite, or calm a cough.
In this series of classes spanning 4-months, students will have hands-on practical study of herbal medicine, with classes divided between lecture, discussion, field and apothecary work.
